CPR courses include a lecture/discussion covering the anatomy and physiology of the heart and respiratory system; heart disease, heart attacks and their warning signs, using the emergency medical system; the medical/legal considerations of CPR; and the cause of death and disability in infants and children and the ways to prevent these occurrences.

                                                     What Goes On In A Typical CPR Class?

 

  • Watch a Video section. 

  • Be given an Explanation and Demonstration by the Instructor.

  • Work in groups of three, as coach, casualty and provider, using the Work book, provided.

  • This is overseen with positive coaching & assessment by the Instructor.

  • There are no hidden course extras everything is provided.

  • One CPR manikin between two people.( based on a course for twelve candidates)
